Living with Intention

The definition of Intentional Living is any lifestyle based on an individual or group’s conscious attempts to live according to their values and beliefs.  These can include lifestyle based on religions or ethical values, as well as coaching, personal transformation, and leadership training.

Intentional living requires one to be aware of their fundamental beliefs and be willing to make an effort to have their behavior reflect these beliefs in a form of integrity in relation to his or her conscience and the environment that surrounds them.

I am moving towards a simple life of getting rid of the excess.  I shed those extra pounds I carried with me for years and then the extra skin that had kept me from enjoying physical activities.  I am meeting with our Denver realtor next week and we are putting our house on the market that we only bought back on Halloween.  Silly right?  No, we want to live in Phoenix full time, and yes we have been here during the summer months!  Last night, I cleaned out my closet and am taking bags of my “past” clothes to Goodwill.  My closet is now filled with lots of athletic wear and lightweight summer dresses.  It doesn’t snow here in Phoenix, so I can get rid of most of my winter clothes

So freeing to my soul, to push away the past and sing and dance into whatever will be.  Don’t drift though life.  Live intentionally and with purpose.

Praise the Lord of My Own

Rejoice Today!
