Glorius Sundays

I am having lunch at a little place in Arvada, sitting outside watching families with dogs and kids enjoy their lunch. What a joyous thing to do after attending a worship service filled with hope and encouragement this morning. I always enjoy every church that I attend whether I am at home or traveling. The voice may be different, but the message is always from God, written just for my specific needs.

There is a warm and comforting feeling about being surrounded by other Christians. I can always tell if someone has been touched by the Holy Spirit or if they are unfortunately one of the many people who attend church on Sunday and then do not live out their faith throughout the week.

I am not by any way judging, it is just that you can tell by what they say and do when NOT in church. My favorite expression continues to be; “Say what you mean, Mean what you say.” The Bible says it even better.

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7

The Lord sees inside of every heart and knows whether the person is walking in faith next to him every moment of their lives.

Enjoy this glorious Sunday.
